Chandler Municipal Airport will host Airport Day on Jan.
24, where attendees can learn about the airport's future, view static aircraft displays (featuring different models), meet pilots and interact with local aviation organizations.

The 10th annual Chandler International Film Festival will run Jan.
23-Feb. 1 across multiple venues. It will open on Jan. 23 at 6 p.m. with a film screening at Pollack Tempe Cinemas (1825 E. Elliot Road) and follow with events using a multi-venue plan.
Chandler’s Connection & Impact Division invites the public to the 31st Multicultural Festival on Saturday, Jan.
17 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park's east stage plaza downtown; the event features live music, global cuisine, a custom cruiser car show, basketball activities and a kids zone.
Limelight Performing Arts will stage Big Fish at Mesa Arts Center from Jan.
9 to Jan. 17. The musical features Chandler resident Katelyn Covesdy & a cast that delivers high-energy choreography & strong vocals as they bring a blend of fantasy and heart to the stage.

Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center is named a Top Teaching Hospital by The Leapfrog Group for excellence in safety & quality and graduate medical education via Creighton University East Valley Arizona.
Dr. Mario Garner said the honor reflects the center's commitment to training skilled clinicians, with 2,400 hospitals considered.

The Cardinals finished their season with a 37-20 loss to the Rams Sunday, setting a franchise record for losses as coach Jonathan Gannon was fired.
The new coaching staff will rebuild — the team holds the No. 3 overall pick in April.
