Chandler Municipal Airport is hosting its free Airport Day on Saturday, Jan.

24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2380 S. Stinson Way, where visitors can explore aircraft displays, interactive stations (including an Airport Day passport), food trucks and rides for a behind-the-scenes look at airport operations.

Chandler Unified School District is now accepting open enrollment applications for the 2026-27 school year for K-12 students.

Registration began online on Jan. 7 for preschool, pre-K and new or returning students, and those applying outside their attendance boundaries must submit the required documents.

Chandler will see key shifts in housing matters this year as a state goal for middle housing construction and rising costs prompt local discussions—one of five topics to watch in 2026.
