ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ A report from the Arizona Office of Economic Opportunity showed 19,400 jobs were lost in 2025 as the unemployment rate increased from 4.2 to 4.5 by January. The losses were most severe in government, trade, transportation & utilities, leisure and hospitality, and construction. KJZZ
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Chandler High School has hired teacher Chris Todd for its cabinetry program after he discovered that Arizona’s technical education lags behind other regions. Todd said he is eager to help students gain practical skills (often called shop classes) for their future careers. Chandler Independent
