- ➤ At her trial in Chandler, Lori Vallow Daybell’s brother Adam Cox told jurors he suspected she planned the killing of her estranged husband, Charles Vallow—he said the shooting took place just before a planned intervention to bring her back to a shared faith, and if convicted she would face another life sentence. - ➤ Today at 11:30 p.m., the eastbound Loop 202 Santan Freeway Gilbert Road on-ramp will close for about two months for a widening project as part of the $200 million Loop 202 Improvement Project—ADOT advises drivers to use the eastbound on-ramps at Cooper or Lindsay roads. The project upgrades freeway lanes and interchanges along eight miles of Loop 202—between Loop 101 and Val Vista Drive. KTAR
