- ➤ Tempe police are searching for a suspect who posted low-quality, adhesive-backed images showing children being sexually abused on light poles and signage along the Western Canal path in Tempe, with similar images found in Chandler and Mesa — the suspect is believed to frequent the Canal and the investigation continues. - ➤ On April 3, EVIT welding students built Arizona’s first AISC tree-teaching sculpture at the entrance to SteelFab Arizona’s factory on Hamilton St using donated steel beams and blueprints from plant manager Alex Avila.
