- ➤ Hamilton High School’s girls basketball team was honored on April 8 at the Chandler Unified School District Governing Board meeting for winning its state title—finishing the season with 20 wins to 12 and a 56 to 54 overtime win against Gilbert High in the Class 6A final on March 8. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Anthony Paoletti, 8, a cancer survivor from Chandler, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at 3 ½ and celebrated finishing treatment in 2023 with a bell-ringing event; he served as the race starter at the 2024 Run to Fight Children’s Cancer (a local event) and now looks forward to attending this year’s race to support other kids.
