Chandler consulting firm Keenstack announced the formation of an advisory board featuring former Gov. Doug Ducey, David Rutchik and Deanna Wise to guide its growth and build key industry partnerships.

Three weeks after a 16-year-old was fatally struck on Arizona Avenue outside Chandler High School, a 30-member safety advisory committee met Tuesday to review campus access, pedestrian behavior, and security measures while city leaders plan traffic signal upgrades for a dedicated crossing phase later this year.

Salt River Project, serving more than 2 million people in central Arizona, will boost renewables to 30%-60% by 2032 and join APS in planning for carbon neutrality by 2050.

Both utilities will add renewable and storage projects — including nuclear power — to deliver more reliable, clean energy.
