Tikka Drive opened in April at a shopping center on the northwest corner of Arizona Avenue and Warner Road in north Chandler — a former Yoliberto’s location — and bills itself as the state’s first hot, handmade Indian drive-thru that uses five clay tandoor ovens and serves certified halal meat.

City Council work session data shows tourism is up in Chandler as group bookings grow and hotel occupancy rises despite slower foreign travel.

Economic development official Kimberly Janes said booking rates for 2026 are already exceeding those seen in 2025 and 2024.
