Chandler teen Mahwan Muna and her friends are helping needy kids in Angola after noticing hardship in their home country — they are coordinating efforts to provide support in the coming days.

Chandler veterans (Dave Waltzer and Bop Dalpe) are eager to join upcoming America 250 events after recently taking part in a Mesa Drop Zone event with Mayor Kevin Hartke.

They plan to celebrate their service in events held throughout the year.
