Vision Gallery in Chandler presents 'Unlovable: An Open Call Exhibition' – a show featuring artwork from over 60 local artists reimagining creatures often seen as unlovable.

It opens tomorrow and holds an opening reception today from 6 to 8 p.m. at 10 E. Chicago St.

Kyrene Traditional Academy Principal Dr. Marianne Lucas Lescher (retired last month) was named the first Education Leader of the Year inductee to the Arizona Education Hall of Fame set by the Arizona Educational Foundation; she will be celebrated at AEF’s Back to School Breakfast on Aug. 7 in Phoenix.
