Gas prices dropped for the third week in a row as a Circle K (at 59th Avenue and Olive Road) recorded $4.40 a gallon on June 12, down 17 cents, while state prices fell 14 cents to $4.46, according to AAA Arizona.

This continued decline is easing costs for local drivers.

Chandler’s school board approved more than a dozen actions at its June 10 meeting — including four contracts for mental and behavioral health services and a substance-abuse program renewal — while one board member opposed the investment but noted the services might be needed.
