- ➤ Filmmaker Adam Finberg from Phoenix will debut his new movie Star People, a science-fiction thriller inspired by the 1997 Phoenix Lights, at Harkins Theatres in Scottsdale, Chandler and Peoria on July 25—filmed at several Arizona spots—and hopes the film brings fresh interest in a famed local mystery. - ➤ Several Chandler-area students earned national recognition at the 2025 SkillsUSA Championships in Atlanta in late June. Cohen T.
