The Black Chamber of Arizona in partnership with the City of Chandler will host a free full-day summit on Friday, Aug.

1 at the Chandler Center for the Arts to celebrate and empower Black-owned businesses. The event will feature interactive workshops, a live panel discussion, and a vendor marketplace—plus free breakfast and lunch—designed to help small business owners gain tools for growth.

Chandler Unified School District teachers returned on Wednesday and began preparing classrooms—students will return on July 16 to start the new school year.

Chandler is hosting two interactive General Plan workshops at the Chandler Museum—Tuesday, Aug.

Local residents may submit arguments for or against the six items until 5 p.m. on Aug. 6 via email, in person at City Hall, or by mail — with each argument costing $150.
