- ➤ Chandler Police arrested Claudio Hernandez Perez after stopping a vehicle near I-10 and Riggs Road on July 29th (7:15 p.m.) when officers found bags of onions hiding almost 400 pounds of methamphetamine, and he now faces charges for transporting a dangerous drug with help from Arizona DPS and Homeland Security Investigations. - ➤ Three East Valley men received prison terms and were ordered to pay restitution—two in the seven figures—for their role in a telemarketing scam that defrauded over 1,000 victims of more than $10M from 2014 to 2019.
