The Arizona Humane Society is hosting a free pet adoption event today to help clear overcrowded shelters — the event has no fees and gives rescued pets a chance for a new home.

Finland-based Nokia signed a definitive agreement to acquire NXP Semiconductor’s Chandler campus, planning to lease manufacturing space in early 2027 and convert it for optical component production; the full acquisition is expected to close in the first quarter of 2029.
Blue Donkey Greek Eats is a family-run shop now open at the southwest corner of Gilbert and Queen Creek roads.
It serves traditional souvlaki, loaded-fries plates, salads, rice bowls and dessert, operating Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 3120 S. Gilbert Road.
