- ➤ Chandler Police and the U.S. Secret Service conducted checks at over 100 local businesses for credit card skimming devices on Wednesday and found none—authorities will continue to monitor potential threats and advise residents to use chip-enabled cards and protect their PINs. KTAR

- ➤ Vision Gallery in downtown Chandler will show the 'So Fun! An Exploration of Maximalism' exhibit from Aug. 23 through Nov. 2 as five local artists use diverse materials to create bold art. An opening reception is set for Aug. 22 from 6—8 p.m. Chandler Independent
- ➤ Muralist Ariana Enriquez opened her exhibit 'Con cariño siempre' on Aug. 9 at the Gallery at the Chandler Center for the Arts, where it will be on display through Nov. 8.
