- ➤ Chandler will open its $8.5-million, 18-court pickleball facility at Tumbleweed Park on Saturday, Sept. 6—exactly one year after its groundbreaking. The new venue offers LED lighting, restrooms, practice areas, and a parking lot and will hold a ribbon-cutting at 8:30 a.m. with instructor sessions from 9 to 11 a.m. Chandler Independent

- ➤ Chandler Unified School District is partnering with companies and organizations to offer a new CTE course at Hamilton High School that trains students in semiconductor manufacturing. The program is part of a broader plan to prepare future tech workers in Arizona. ABC 15
- ➤ The city of Chandler and the Chandler Unified School District partnered on a $10,000 investment to expand career readiness programs for high school students during the 2024–25 school year.
