Glenn Jordan will host the Keep Raising Your Bar Pull-Up Challenge at HUB Fitness, 14647 S.
50th St near Ray Road, Ahwatukee on Saturday, Aug. 22 at 9:00 a.m. Participants will test pull-ups while raising funds for the Arizona Burn Foundation to support burn survivors + prevention programs.
🎓 Education
Chandler Unified’s Governing Board approved a contract on Aug.
19 for nine school resource officers at its middle and high schools for the remainder of the 2026 to 2027 school year; Board President Patti Serrano cast the only opposing vote.
🏛️ Government
ADOT has launched three new specialty license plates, including Italian American Heritage, Kidney Disease Awareness, and Suicide Prevention, now available online for Arizona drivers.
The $25 annual plate (with $17 supporting charities) adds to 107 options offered by the agency.
