Padeland will take over the former LOOK Cinema theater and bar in downtown Chandler and will open late 2025.
The 35,000+ square-foot facility will offer padel and pickleball courts, a craft brewery, a taproom, a restaurant, a coffee shop and co-working space.

The Kyrene Foundation will host its annual Night for Kyrene fundraiser at Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort on Sept.
6 at 6 p.m. to raise money for student rewards and family holiday meals—organizers seek a presenting sponsor and additional sponsorships for the event.

Chandler announced that service closures for the Labor Day holiday (Monday, Sept.
1) will affect administrative offices, the Chandler Museum, public libraries, and several community centers, with trash and recycling still collected. Recreational centers like Tumbleweed Recreation Center and Chandler Tennis Center will operate on holiday hours while several aquatic centers will be open from noon to 5 p.m.
