Hamilton High School junior Katie Chan had her open letter (about data centers) published in the New York Times as one of seven winners in the Student Open Letters Contest.

Chandler City Council hired Deryck Lavelle as the new city attorney to replace retired Kelly Schwab.
Lavelle (12 years in Phoenix) brings over 24 years of legal experience from municipal work, private practice, and international law.

The National Hot Rod Association announced a 20-race schedule for the 2027 season, which will include a drag racing event at Firebird Motorsports Park from Feb.
