- ➤ Maricopa County will restart its buy one, get one free camping promotion next Thursday for residents booking stays until Oct. 31—residents get one free night for two to seven-night stays and two free nights for eight to fourteen-night stays. KTAR

- ➤ MD First Research Chandler earned a dementia-friendly business designation in August 2024 and qualifying study participants do not require payments, copayments or insurance. The clinic opened in 2016 and is located at 3190 S. Gilbert Road, Suite 5—marking a key milestone in its research work. Chandler Independent

- ➤ Jace Huma from Chandler-Gilbert played on the first Native American baseball team at the 2025 Babe Ruth World Series in Branson, Missouri in August.
