Chandler Symphony Orchestra kicks off its 34th season with a chamber music concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct.

The CHUSD Governing Board voted 3-2 on Sept.
9 to permanently include a Native American land acknowledgment at board meetings and graduations, sparking a contentious debate among community members.
Antonette Shirley, CUSD indigenous engagement specialist, earned the ADE Copper Apple Award for August during a Sept.
9 meeting — where board members discussed indigenous topics — in Chandler.

Adam Baugh of Withey Morris Baugh is progressing three Chandler infill projects on challenging empty corners; one site at the northeast corner of Cooper Road and Chandler Blvd will include retail with an auto spa, coffee shop, daycare, and oil service next to the Paseo Trail and Tibshraney Family Park.
