Chandler Aquatics reported that pool rescues dropped 82% this summer as new Swim Safe 48 rules kept children safe with blue wristbands+swim tests at local pools.

The program will continue next summer to further reduce incidents.

On Monday morning, first responders treated 10 people during a bee attack at Intel’s Ocotillo campus in Chandler; three were taken to a hospital while seven were treated on-site near Dobson and Ocotillo roads.
