- ➤ Chandler City Council approved contracts on Sept. 18 for a new 66-inch redundant sewer line near the Loop 101 and Loop 202 interchange to bolster city utility infrastructure. The project will install 700 linear feet of pipe and modify existing lines with work awarded to B&F Contracting Inc. and Wilson Engineers, LLC — measures taken to prevent future system failures. - ➤ Two south Chandler land parcels that had sparked debates for three years moved closer to city inclusion when Chandler Acquisition I, LLC received a pre-annexation development agreement approved Sept. 18 by the city council—clearing the way for future industrial permitting, while Dominium Properties had proposed an apartment project called Sonoran Landings on a nearby 25-acre site.
