- ➤ Visit Chandler has introduced a digital pass that gives residents and visitors a month of Halloween fun and a chance to win a prize when they check in at five spots this October — the free Chandler Thrills Pass is sent by text and email after signing up. - ➤ On Nov. 1, the Chandler Museum will partner with the Japanese American National Museum for a full-day event that honors 125,284 Japanese Americans incarcerated during World War II. The museum will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.—visitors can join in stamping names in The Ireichō with free admission. City of Chandler

- ➤ Kyrene Elementary School District earned the Government Finance Officers Association Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the 29th year in a row after an impartial panel approved its annual report for the fiscal year ending June 30 — showing the district’s strong commitment to financial transparency. - ➤ The City of Chandler will host a mobile immersion lab on Oct. 28 at SoHo63 in downtown Chandler to show the updated General Plan using 3D displays (based on community input).
