- ➤ American Legion Post 35 in Chandler will host NovemBEERfest on Nov. 8 from noon to 5 p.m. at its entertainment area at 2240 W. - ➤ Navarrete Elementary School held a ribbon-cutting on Oct. 16 to mark the opening of its remodeled media arts center ($1.3 million) that converted the old library into a modern learning space.
