- ➤ SanTan Village Art and Wine Festival will return to the Valley over the Oct. 25 weekend—featuring art shows, wine tastings, and live music. The three-day event will include local vendors in an outdoor setting. 12 News

- ➤ Día de los Muertos celebrations take place around the Valley with free events featuring live music, dance, food, and art for all ages. In Chandler, a community event at Chandler Center for the Arts on Sun. Nov. 2 from 3 to 7 p.m. offers Calaca Puppets, mask making, and community altars — a chance for neighbors to honor loved ones. 12 News

- ➤ Chandler Unified School District revealed less than one-third of students complete the career and technical education sequences while many take the courses as electives—raising concerns over state funds used for intended program expenses.
