- ➤ Sun Lakes P.E.O. Chapter EN will hold its Christmas luncheon on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Oakwood Golf Club ballroom from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.—members, guests, and visiting PEOs are urged to join the event that features vendor sales, a raffle drawing, lunch served at 11:30 a.m., and Santa photos, with reservations due by Nov. 15 and a cost of $32 per person. BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Kovach Enclosure Systems—based in Chandler since 1970—signed a 15-year lease for 190,475 square feet at Chandler Freeways Business Park to expand its headquarters. The new space, more than 50% larger than its current one, will be completed in Q3 and will support 365 jobs—deepening the company’s community ties. City of Chandler

- ➤ The Chandler Unified School District will host its second-annual School Choice Fair on Wednesday, November 5 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the CUSD District Office at 1525 W. Frye Road—inviting families to explore school programs and meet educators. Chandler Independent
- ➤ At recent Kyrene School District hearings, students, parents and teachers voiced strong opposition to a plan that would close several schools and change boundaries, including potential impacts on Chandler’s Kyrene Traditional Academy. The district said the plan would save $7.1 million by consolidating resources and will face four more hearings before the board votes on Dec. 16—raising widespread community concern.
