Kyrene School District voters comfortably passed their budget override by over 10 percentage points to help support teacher salaries and student programs.

Taroko Sports opened on Nov.
8 at Casa Paloma shopping center in west Chandler behind A.J.'s and offers sports activities like batting cages, a pitching mound, electronic darts, miniature bowling, an arcade, and the HitTrax Swing Suite. The center is open 24 hours—its third location follows previous openings at Mesa Riverview and Katy in Texas.
