- ➤ Circle K announced Friday that it will offer Inner Circle members a 40 cent discount per gallon on gas at participating Arizona locations on Thursday, Nov. 20—from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Non-members may join the free rewards program via the Circle K app, website, or text sign-up before the discount day. - ➤ Duck Donuts’ final Arizona store closed yesterday in a south Chandler shopping center at Arizona Avenue and Ocotillo Road—located near Hamilton High. The chain continues to expand with plans for new locations on the eastern seaboard and in California. Chandler Independent

- ➤ A review of Chandler Unified Schools data found a big difference between enrollment figures and state capacity numbers; nine schools showed over 100% enrollment while 23 schools were below 80% capacity. - ➤ On Nov. 14, Arizona College Prep won a tight 35 to 34 playoff game in Chandler after senior Ashton Sanchez caught a 38 yard touchdown pass with less than one minute left. Cactus Shadows coach Chris Dixon tried a two point conversion that did not work, and ACP will face #2 seed ALA and Gilbert North at 7 p.m. on Nov. 21 — a win that ended Donivan Dixon’s high school career — as the playoffs continue.
