Claim Assist Solutions announced it will open a 58,000-square-foot office at One Chandler Corporate Center in West Chandler to meet rising demand for insurance claim support services.
The company will hire 40 workers starting mid-November and plans to add up to 400 jobs over the next two to three years — city officials praised the move—.
Chandler’s 30th annual Art Quilts exhibition “Palette Cleanser” opened at Vision Gallery on Nov.
8 and will run through Jan. 10. The show—featuring minimalist art quilts by fiber artists from across the country and abroad—offers free admission at 10 E. Chicago Street.
The Chandler Center for the Arts will host several events in November and December including its 39th annual Nutcracker performance from Nov.
28 to Dec. 7, Theatre Kids: Ballet Etudes’ Nutcracker Act II on Dec. 5, Spirit of Christmas from Dec. 13 to Dec. 21, and a New Year’s Eve celebration on Dec. 31. The center’s box office at 250 N. Arizona Ave.—open weekdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m.—offers discounts for in-person ticket purchases.
Nick Ciletti hosted the 12th annual Champions in Education gala in Chandler+ to raise funds for an Arizona nonprofit that teaches financial literacy.
Elementary teacher Susan Spigelmire of Liberty Traditional School and high school teacher Vick Schomaker from Mountain View+ were honored at the event.
Chandler will reduce its popular xeriscape rebate program starting January 1 by lowering the rate from $2 to $1.50 per square foot and reducing maximum payouts — pending applicants will keep the current rate — as the city adjusts its water conservation funds.
