- ➤ Claim Assist Solutions opened a 58,000 sq ft office at One Chandler Corporate Center in west Chandler to meet growing demand for its insurance claim support services and started hiring 40 new employees mid-November—officials said the firm plans to add up to 400 positions over the next two to three years. - ➤ Metro Phoenix residents can now order food and groceries with contactless autonomous delivery from DoorDash in a new service with Waymo — reaching areas including Chandler. They use the DoorDash app to unlock a self-driving vehicle’s trunk — and DashPass members get special offers. KTAR

- ➤ At a Nov. 12 study session, Chandler Unified explained that its K-5 math curriculum adoption ties into its Journey to Excellence plan. Dr. Jessica Edgar announced that the district selected the i-Ready curriculum from Curriculum Associates—its adoption will cost more than $4 million over six years. Chandler Independent

- ➤ The Arizona Department of Transportation has reached the halfway point of its project to widen Loop 202 Santan Freeway between Chandler and Gilbert, which began in August 2024 and will finish in spring. The $200 million effort will add new lanes and rebuild ramps—funded by Proposition 400—to ease growing traffic demands. KTAR
