Chandler's Celebration of Arbor Day

About this event

Did you know that one mature Indian Rosewood tree will provide more than $2,000 of environmental benefits over the next 20 years? Explore the great outdoors through the wonder of trees at Chandler's Celebration of Arbor Day. Learn more interesting facts and enjoy family-fun activities at this free event. Plus, Chandler residents can pick up a free native 5-gallon tree, get planting advice, and celebrate the tree-mendous benefits of trees. Typically, Arbor Day is held in April alongside Earth Day. However, fall is a better time to plant and prune trees in our southwest desert climate. Welcome the fall, celebrate trees, and learn something new. Trees are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Must prove proof of Chandler residency to receive a tree. One tree per Chandler resident household. Schedule of Events TBD
