Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke recognized Read On Chandler at a May 19 City Council study session—praising the group's work to help all children read by third grade—and noted that the collaborative sent 25 VIP guest readers to Title I schools.

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors approved a contract with national firm BerryDunn to review elections processes including chain of custody, physical security, and ballot drop boxes—funding for the review was approved in February.
