Gardner Minshew II will start for the Cardinals at Seattle on Sunday
The Good Day Chandler team
If you follow the Cardinals, here's the Sunday plan: Gardner Minshew II starts at Seattle. Coach Mike LaFleur confirmed Monday that rookie Carson Beck is the backup and Jacoby Brissett is the emergency third-stringer. Brissett is reportedly being traded to Baltimore.
Minshew got the job by rallying the Cardinals from 17-3 down against Dallas. Michael Wilson's tying 13-yard touchdown came with six seconds left, and Chad Ryland, who missed the extra point, won it with a 42-yard field goal in overtime, 33-30. Before the switch, Brissett had just 145 yards of total offense.
